Real fear? No, it's not enjoyable.
Some people get off on the adrenaline rush, I guess.

Fear is your friend it proves you are sane when you fear say dismemberment or paralysis. Finding things to be afraid or that are inherently dangerous that's just stupid!
P.S. there isn't really anything dangerous about swimming with sharks other than filling your wet suit with chum before jumping in.

those people who get into concern probable would be unable to help ourselves. and an outstanding sort of folk look to like to dread the frightened element. We enter a trance of outrage, or exchange into entranced by reactions of outrage. non secular devotion is many times or many times in keeping with concern. i've got began reading an previous e book i chanced on at a wierd keep interior of reach some weeks in the past: Self Hypnotism - The technique and its Use in daily living, by Leslie M. LeCron i'm looking it alluring, and that i think of the proper theory is genuine - that we human beings often enter trances for all time, daily, as quickly as we are focused on some thing carefully, staring at television or video clips, listening to super music, engrossed in a verbal substitute, or intensely offended or in some different way disenchanted. So considering that we fall into those trances besides, the belief could be to artwork on advertising fit, extra efficient trances. edit> i'm making a distinction right here between genuine concern, and exhilaration (that's what, imo, the respond under is describing).

Everybody loves to be scared.
This is most evident in relgion.
When the church wants to boost attendance, and offerings, they simply preach the hell and brimstone sermons. People get scared, ante up more cash, and attend more often.
Which would you rather hear, a two hour sermon on the goodness of a sheppard, or two hours about hell fire, suffering, and pain?
One of the two will keep you awake.

What you consider fear others may consider as a thrill. Just depends on the way you look at things.
