I just saw pictures of the latest 3 series convertible with the hardtop. While the look with the top down is ok - when the top is up it looks fugly. Also the current 5 series is badly proportioned (seems like different people designed different parts of the car), and whats with those "hawk like" front lights and super weird sideways rear lamps. The 5 series interior just cannot make it also. The rear of the current 3 series is just plain ugly and the interior looks cheap, the 6 series is too cramped inside and it looks too long somehow, the 7 series double eyelids was replaced after too many people complained, the 1 series looks like a serious mistake etc...

I would say BMW looks more like the Asian cars and its losing it European looks. However, I do like the 7 series and the new 335 is not too bad, but I with you on all the rest. I really think they made a mistake on the 5 series. However, I have always enjoyed Benz's my self. I know a lot hardcore BMW people that are switching over to Benz because of the new BMW looks.

I agree they regarded extra perfect in the previous. The E46 and E39 were countless the perfect looking automobiles ever. They do ought to modify although, its about gas economy and fee slicing as a lot because that is about seems. They did make record income, through slicing costs which contains how they pay their workers...yet it really is for yet all over again. in case you keep in recommendations how undesirable the E65 7 series develop into and what percentage undesirable comments it received it nevertheless went unchanged for 3 years. BMW believed in the experience that they made an instantaneous change that is admitting a mistake develop into made. primary, the hot designs in good structure the layout scheme of Audi, VW and different competition.

Some does not look good, while some good. Basically the older cars of early 2000s was quite nice, but in comparison to the one which race in the 1987 Group A Touring Car series, I feel that the cars in those days were quite nice.

I find the new design highly controversial, but change is all part of the game. BMW traditionally "radically"changes design every 6 years. They tend to make improvements and modifications every year. For sometime now the Chris Bangle, an American, has been leading the BMW designers team and responsible for radically design changes, and introducing new BMW models. If these changes are viable only the market will show.

i admit, i wasn't exactly convinced that BMW was headed in the right direction with the 7-Series...but now, im happy with the overall direction

i admit, the 5-Series is messy, but if the flame surfacing hadn't existed, it would be much better
6-series lookes great from front...just the rear needs sum work, and looks a bit wide
7-Series: its grown on me and defently has a 'look-at-me' factor
X3...ok, though front could be more refined
new X5: fantastic, looks sporty, bold and luxurious all at once
3-Series...great front and modern interior, though the rear needs to follow more in the coupe's direction
1-Series: my favourite...fantastic proportions, simple interior. i love it...though it def need more rear interior room

it pushes BMW into a new age, grabbing a younger imagination while (usually) keeping the sports car looks

I LOVE the 5- series!!
Admittedly, I haven't seen the interior, but every time I see one on the road, I have a hard time taking my eyes off of it!

The 3 and 7 are OK, but the 5! It's as close to the perfect sedan exterior to me as I've seen.

I had a 1965 1800ti I really liked the looks of. Since then, every new model seems off - and by the time I finally decide I like the design, they change it again. The only change I liked right away was the new Z4 hard top fast back.

It's all about the name. There are plenty of other cars that are more economical and dependable...as well as very sharp to look at. When people buy bmw's, they are generally buying it because it is a BMW. LOL They don't know anything else about it other than it's...a bmw. LOL
