i have downloaded this game, but they says that i need to have DirectX downloaded, when i saw it on my computer files.

Start -> Run
Type "dxdiag"
It will tell you what version of DirectX you have, and you can run diagnostic tests.
If you find out that you don't have DirectX, check out the page below for more options.

You probably need a newer version of DirectX than you have, which you can download from Microsoft's site. To check your version of DirectX, go to Start > run and enter dxdiag.

In the start menu go to run and then type in: Dxdiag
A direct X diagnostic tool should pop in to existence. If it does, that means you have direct X. If not then you don't.
If it does appear, you may not have the most recent version of Direct X which i believe is 9.0c. you can tell what version you have down at the bottom, it will say Direct X Version: ____
