This is my first time in a Tesol Conference. It is going to be held in Seattle, WA in March. Please advise me.

Whatever you wear to school is appropriate for a conference. If you are presenting, you will want to dress up (business). You will want some casual clothes and some going-out-to-dinner clothes as well, if you are going out of town.
suggestions:
bring sturdy tote for your pens/paper for notes
bring a bunch of blank file folders--when you get a handout at a session, but it in a file folder you label on the spot. When you get home you can file them easily, and find them!
bring a bunch of sticky labels with your school contact information on it--at the exhibits you can use it to sign up for information or for a raffle if they have one.
have fun! I love conferences!

I've been told by my ESL Department Head that the meetings are business casual.

Enjoy!
