generally. some are heat sensitive- and they say not to, but i did and nothing happened to mine. maybe first try taking a picture of them with a camera- at least as back up

I once saw someone try and photocopy their ultrasound scans and they turned black - ruined (I think it was the heat of the scanning thingy). I didn't want to chance it, so when I had my scans, I took a picture of them with my camera and then emailed those photos.

I scanned in my ultrasound pictures so I could make them larger for my scrapbook and I had no problems. The larger image was perfect too.

That's the scanned image of the 2 ultrasound pictures I had done at 24 weeks. They came out beautiful, so much detail, and the originals are just as good as ever.

I was told it is ok to scan them onto the computer, just to not let them be exposed to sunlight.

yes, just dont pour water on them or coffee..they will be wrecked for sure!
