Be prepared! No matter where you live, you can be directly affected by an eruption. Whether it may be from the large ash plume or widespread infrastructure outages.
Get or build a disaster kit for your home. The American Red Cross has lists of ideal items to be included. Also, a vehicle disaster kit is also essential.
If an eruption is expected, be sure to stay tuned to your local radio and television for updates and instructions from officials.
Just be prepared.. hope that answers you question?!
