This is the perpetual mystery which bothers humanity from ages.Happiness(Ananda) especially the everlasting one is within ourself. All kinds of happiness derived out fulfilling our desires in this world are fleeting in nature. Our sages in the past have observed this and have done enormous meditative researches and have found the conclusive answer that happiness lies within oneself only. All other worldly comforts and pleasures are purely temporary. But understanding this truth is not easy. One should develop certain fundamental traits in him/her. Love, Compassion and Sacrifice are absolutely essential to reach that goal. It is necessary to look for the good of the larger world community rather than the narrow personal good. Till then it will only be a mirage as long as man chases the purely temporary worldly desires for selfish reasons.

Hi Sirius, I live and work within a Buddhafield, so anyone coming near me is already affected positively by the energy that has already been built up here. Everyone who comes here is already 'on the move', open and receptive to understanding and living in a new way and is seeking their totality of being. DANCES WITH KALI: I noticed your incredible number of thumbs down, I do find it odd that the mere use of the word SEX can provoke such negativity when sexual energy is responsible for all life on this planet. But there we are, we're all conditioned in some way or another. EDIT: Sirius, I never for a moment thought it was you giving thumbs down, I know you are an open-minded beautiful person. Your questions always allow people to share something of themselves, no matter what path they are on. I always come back again and again to read the answers. Thank you xx

We look around in society and see people married and/or in great relationships and with kids and think that's our purpose. To have our lives filled by other people. If we don't have the kids or the great partner by our side something is missing. And we look at others the same way when we see them single and older and no kids. Even if they're happy, we think to ourselves that they secretly are not and they're abnormal. I don't think most people really look at themselves and think "I'm enough". We're a society of the missing. We think we're missing out if we don't have that great job that pays millions, that great product that just came out, that great body... We can't live without this or that. If we would just look around and be more grateful for who we are and what we can do, I doubt we would really look for happiness outside ourselves.

Because sometimes, it's hard to trust yourself. And you yourself aren't perfect to have all the solutions you are looking for. And sometimes, other people have 'things' that aren't in themselves, that's why they look for people that have these 'things' to satisfy their needs. People need people, no matter how lots of them firmly state that they can survive alone.

Because they don´t know!
And when they learn, they are so used to their old ways that very few will "dive" into their spirit.
