I'm bored and I want attention. Nobody ever pays attention to me. I have a trial at the Y and I think I want to just dive in the water and breathe it in to get a lifeguard to notice me.

Yeah but how can they prove what happened to me wasn't truely a mistake on my part just like any other?

Also, they never do anything anyways nobody ever has to be saved.

Let's run a little scenario here. You jump in the water on one side of the pool, a toddler, who's momentarily distracted, doesn't notice her daughter slip into the water on the other side of the pool. You create a big fuss, breathe in water or whatever, and lifeguard automatically comes to rescue you. Meanwhile, the child quietly inhales water and sinks down. By the time she is rescued, she is still alive, but brain dead. Is that what you want to be responsible for? the lifeguard isn't there to judge your play acting abilities. he or she is there to rescue people who appear to need help.
If you want someone to notice you, try doing something to help someone else. Try doing volunteer work. If you already belong to the Y, ask how you could help out in programs working with underprivileged children, or paraplegics, or seniors.
You definitely need to concentrate on something besides yourself. This won't be your favorite answer, but it's one you should think about.

Yes, "falsely reporting an incident" a Class A Misdemeanor here in New York

Besides you could possibly keep the lifeguard away from someone who really needs help.

Your mental state is worrying, better do something about that.
But let me tell you this;Once lifeguards tried to rescue me as I was snorkling off some reef. They thought I was in trouble but I was not and I and the one I was with refused to be taken in their zodiac back to the beach. We knew it would cost us money and we never were in any dangerWe had a serious argument with them.If you however pull any stupid joke like you want to go and do you can get heavily sued in some places.

umm either your kidding or suicidal......the question is (assuming your serious) what kind of attention do you want? A family member to pay more attention to you or a straight jacket and a nice shot in the bum, Cuz with this idea your more likely to get the latter. Even if you get sympathy it wont last long. And even if your kidding you are in effect getting the attention you want online.

we all crave some attention, every now and then its kind of a naturall high for some; but yes u could get in trouble but what the lifeguard dont know wont hurt her, lol but kno u should consider going out more, and mingle with girls of your intrests. step out more, live a little; club, movies, arcades, or whatever you like to do. AND U COULD POSSIBLY KILL YO SELF

Yes.. you have no life... Make some friends and get social. Or, if you want you can find a hot lifeguard to kiss you.. but if they found out that it was on purpose you will get your *** kicked. So mainly i dont like you, and think you have no life. But i wish you well, on your endless path of despair into insanity.

It probably will not get you in trouble but make sure you don't drown the life guard. If there are not many swimmers, you may ask him to show his techinque in saving someone from drowning but dont over do it. You may make a friend but again it could possibly cost him his job. Good luck and have a nice weekend.

you can get in serious trouble for that... unless a lifegaurd asks you to preform a skit and act like your drowning for a program or something we kinda know when your faking we've been trained....!!!
if your faking it and it turns out your faking heres what will happen it happened last summer at the pool i worked out ironically..
Some showoff thought he'd be cool to some girl jump in splashed around yelling help help then submerging himself in the water ofcourse its our job to save someone whos drowning we had to number one evacutate the pool call 911 and get the kid out.. you have to bring him out using a backboard where i live incase he has spinal damage and so my friend jumps in bye this time this kids underwater he jumps in swims for him and brings him up the kid is splashing and trying to get away we bring him out on the backboard while the paramedics are walking through the door this hotshot tells us hes just joking....At this time we have to call the police and lets just say he got kicked out for good a big ole ticket and a trip downtown....
its a totally stupid idea if you want attention go sing at a karoke bar or something like that

You could get in huge trouble, especially if someone else IS drowning and he is too busy with you to save the drowning person. You could end up with a charge of involuntary manslaughter and spend some time in a prison.
