It is a ongoing issue in this world. How do you teach your child or peer or loved one that raciscm is not the answer in this world, and is not the way to be treated or treat someone this way....

From the earlist age teach them that everyone is equal. But don't just tell them, show them. Whenever you see an oppertunity to enforce your teachings, do so. If you see someone being nice to someone of the opposite race point it out (wheather it's in public, on t.v, or in the newspaper; where-ever) but visa-versa too; if you catch someone being racism, bring it up and ask them what they think about it. Discuss the issue, maybe until your child figures it out for her/himself.
Never under any circumstances be racist yourself, set an example for your child and encourage your friends and family to do the same.
However don't pretend like racism doesn't exist or say that your child will never encounter it. Make sure they know it's a real concern and problem that we are all working on. Also teach them how to react in different situations reguarding racism, wheather they see someong being racist to someone else, or if they themselves are a victim of it.
Never lie to them about anything, be as honest as possible.

You just teach it and preach it and live by example.Tell them all hate is wrong and God made us all and loves us all equally.Do not expose them to racist people as best as you can and teach them to come to you if they hear any thing bad like that

You can't protect them, it is to widespread. All you can do is try to inform about the situation and they will be who they are. It is called individuality.

You just teach them , and don't let them see you contradict yourself ..Children learn a lot by observing differen't behaviors.
