I am trying to write a songfic for a fan fiction website...a songfic is a story based off of song lyrics....any ideas for songs or plotlines??? they need to be about Harry Potter characters, and it can be any ship you want.....feel free to add original characters too! thanks so much! havin' major writers' block!

"Where did you go" by Fort Minor is a pretty good song to write something on. So is anything by Evanescene. Good luck with what you are trying to write. My advice for writing a song fic is to just write and let the words flow naturally on paper. You have time later on to change anything.
By the way, the best fanfiction sites to post stuff on are harrypotterfanfiction.com and mugglenet fanfiction.

Yeah reason I recommend I definitely have meet some somewhat advantageous human beings by speaking approximately Harry Potter and stuff even in college I talked to human beings i won't have often talked to and have become pals simply by fact we the two like HP.

"Don't Stop Believing" - Journey
If you're just looking for plot bunnies, I'd suggest heading over to the Harrypotterfanfiction.com forums (http://www.fictioncentral.net/hpforum/index.php?act=idx) and look in the "Challenges" area. There's lots of ideas for fanfiction there!
Other ideas include:
-Going back to the HP Books and reading some of my favorite passages and perhaps they'll inspire me to write something in that moment.
-Put Music on shuffle and find a song that inspires me. Good inspirations are Broadway songs I've found. I've written a fic or two based loosely on a Broadway Musical plot.
-Pick up a good book that you love to read. Perhaps a crossover is in order! I was reading a book about Anne Boleyn when I got the inspiration to write the fic that's in my siggy.
-Read other fics! Perhaps the plotline of theirs will inspire you!

There is a song by John Lennon that is perfect for a angsty like fic.
I'm a slash fan, so I'd do a Harry/Draco, but...it can be anything you want it to be.

well... depends on the story kinda thing u wanna do!.... what about....OOOOOO!!! got it! serious death.. or maybe cedrics.. or dumbledore... one of the people who die.. put htem with the song how to save a life by the fray.. now that would be cool... or maybe even not a death.. maybe just harrys life before he goes to hogwarts when he doesnt have any friends! what about that! hehe! mani wish i had more time to write these stories! I would have tons! loL! well hopep it works for yah!
