if u love 2 txt. 400 is not enuff. thats really only 200 too b/c if you send one and they reply thats 2 not jus one. basically txts you recieve come out of the 400. and its 10 cents 4 every txt you go over. again including ones ppl send you. i wouldnt push it for the Unlimited Txt for 9.99 since you dont kno if u can evn get a phone but if you do get one and get only 400 then dont go over b/c overage charges are crazy. he might change his mind when youre in the store surrounded by a whole bunch of phones though, b/c thats what my mom did a couple of yrs ago....

for the family plan, it will cost 10 bucks a month extra to add you on as a third line. for unlimited txt, pix, video and IM, it's 19.95. if you pay for the difference, then you can essentially get a free phone, and unlimited txt- and not use many of their minutes. just txt a lot instead. it will include m2m unless it's a faves plan, so you can tell your dad that 1. he will have the bill and know who you are calling (control), and 2. he can call you any time for free since m2m is included.

Ask him politely to switch to the t-mobile my faves plan. It allows each phone user to call their 5 most favorite numbers as much as they want. Click on this link and scroll down to the t-mobile ad and click there. It will also save a trip to the store!!
