Summer, there are days in everyone's lives that they feel like they just want it to all be over. I did and sometimes feel like I still do. My oldest son has Multiple Sclerosis and when we found out about it, I was ready to commit suicide because I didn't want to see what it would do to him. That was just being selfish on my part. I take care of him once a week, when I give him his injections. He comes home to me (he lives in his own apartment with 3 other guys and is doing wonderful) and I wash his clothes for the week and then give him his injection. If anyone deserved to be depressed and feeling like he wanted to end things, it would have been him, but instead, he showed me how strong he really is. He lives life to the fullest each and every day. There is no giving up in his eyes. Then 2 years ago, I was in a car accident and was hurt very badly. I am now 100% disabled, receiving SSD and Medicare. I will never be able to work again and I am only 48. I will never be able to drive a vehicle again. And, I had just gotten a brand new vehicle out of this whole deal from the people who hit me. Now, I can't even drive it. I have had 4 major back surgeries. I just had a pain pump implanted into my back a couple of weeks ago. Yes, there are days that I just want to give up and stop living. But I know for a fact, that GOD has a much greater plan for me. There has to be a reason why he has put me through all of this. You always here that God will never give you more than you can handle. Well, I am real close to that happening. But, I know I will get an answer soon. Just hang in there. When you have kids, it is so much more tough. I have 2 boys who are struggling through this with me every single day. They are not getting the attention they deserve. Heck, I can't even go out of the house and buy them anything. I am a prisoner in my own house. Please hang in there. Those kids need you more than you will ever know. Just your presence is important to them. Smile at them and tell them how much you love them. Believe it or not, you will get those same smiles looking right back at you and those same words coming out of their mouths, too. God loves you and so do I. There are plenty of people out there who love you and there are plenty of people out there who can help you talk things through. Hang in there. There is help available. God Bless You and Best of Luck to you ALWAYS!

No, when the road gets tough....YOU GET TOUGHER!
So today you're having a really bad day. Dont you know that tomorrow will be better. Since it must feel like you're at rock bottom. And if you walked out the door, where on earth would you go? And if you committed suicide, what would happen to your children? You and your children are healthy, PLEASE count those blessings. Rather than seeing the negative side, look at what you DO have. Showing your children love, goals, morals, respect, and how to be strong individuals, doesnt come with a price tag. Show your kids the strong mom that you are!

WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That's depressing. You should look at it this way. There are many others in this world that have far less than you. There are others in this world that today will be the last day for them. You should embrace the fact that you have what is yours and that you have the time here today with your kids for a reason. We are given a certain amount of time here and we each are responsible for our on happiness.Don't worry about the things you can't give your kids.Think about the things you can do for your kids.Give them the spirit of love and laughter.Show them they are cared for.Give them a sense of self worth.Teach them to be proud of who they are.Teach them to work and earn so they will be able to take care of themselves later. If you do this you will feel better and they will be stronger for it.Remember your kids will be a reflection of you, teach them well ,love them allot.

Just a little story to share. Ten years ago next month my father died, his heart blew up, he was 74 years old. He lasted 36 hours after being admitted to Emergency. For 36 short hours I NEVER LEFT HIS SIDE. Just the loving look in his eyes riveted me. My father was very human, certainly not perfect by any means BUT the one thing I always felt beyond a shadow of a doubt was the love in his eyes for me. Can you imagine what terrible legacy you would leave you children? "My dad killed himself because he didn't love me enough to reach for help! !!!!!! Please seek help asap. I just hope your children can be at your side and see the love in YOUR EYES when your time on earth is done. Love your children enough to be courages and seek help immediately. Let us know how you make out and please, if you make the right decision, help someone else down the road.

Summer, things always get better with time. Just don't give up, ok. I wish I had the answers for you, but I can say that there are many people who care about you and your situation, even strangers such as I. Hang tough and let me know if i can ever help.

No i do not wish that... and you should not either... You should love your kids and not even be thinking of something selfish like suicide and ending it all.... It will get better with time so just slow down... You may also need counseling and help for what you are feeling.

We all go trough tough times in our life and feel sad, but i think you are facing clinical depression. Make an appointment with a therapist or find relieve in espirituality. Life is suffering (as Buddha said), but it is also just so great sometimes. Count your blessings. You will be fine.

Every single day of my pathetic little life. My boys are the only thing that keeps me around, but I have suicidal fantasies just about every single day. You are not alone.
