Old home places that have been burned down or torn down. Ask permition from landowner first unless you own it of course. Old outhouses are really good..... people used to lose money, jewelry, lots of things there out of their pockets

Where there used to be building sites - maybe the house is falling down or burned down - check around the step area and where a vehicle would have been parked.
Fair grounds.
The family cabin.
Public parks.
Gardens.

Beaches. A lot of chances to find valuables and easy to dig of the loose sand. Good luck.

beach, Public park , playground, Side of the road,community parking lots ( peopel lose keys and change from their cars, Dollars too :) too bad there isn't a dollars detector.
