Well, right now, Javier Saviola, David Villa, Cristiano Ronaldo and Didier Drogba are doing a better job than he is. If Sergio Agüero was fully healthy, or if Fernando Morientes had a higher profile, they would be on the list too... If you´re talking all-time, you got a lot of names at your disposal: Gerd Müller, Ferenc Puskas, Raymond Kopa, Eusebio, Garrincha, Romario, Ronaldo, etc., and, of course, the Greatest.
Now, Thierry is one hell of a player: no one has the stamina and speed that he has, or his reaction time, but there definitively are or have been other guys out there who can stand up to and best him in other areas.

the only player in the world better than Henry is Ronaldinho.... This season, Drogba is the only striker having a better season than Henry but I think Henry is still by far the most exciting and best striker in the world. His speed is just amazing.

and ronaldo is good. You need not underestimate him because he was out of form. He has scored many spectacular goals. Go check out his career at inter milan or real (first two seasons) or barcelona. And check it now at ac milan.
Being a fan of henry doesn't mean that he IS the best. He is just ONE AMONG THE BEST PLAYERS IN THE WORLD.
yes, i agree that he is amazing, but there are tons of players better than him, or play as good as him. Check drogba... he is at the peak of his form now. Check ronaldinho, the real legend. Luca Toni is great too. don't forget wayne rooney and eto'o. David villa is awesome too. Raul and zlatan ibrahimovic are really awesome to watch. Who can forget robinho and adriano?there are many other examples.

To be honest I can think of some good strikers at the moment. But nothing beats the fabulous Theirry Henry ^^. I thanked him for scoring the goal last nigth against Middlesbrough. He always had been such a wonderful player....Lol ^^

dont forget that Henry was a winger before adjusting himself to a striker at Arsenal..
and also it depends on what you are looking for ..Are you comparing in term of general play or goal scoring??
if i compare him with Ruud Van Nistelrooy
In term of scoring >>>Ruud is better he does the scoring role more efficient because thats his job>TO SCORE
in term of general play >>Henry is better because he can play in any posistion except defending i guess
