can anyone tell me his thoughst about significant events during his time period?
-political views?
- "-isms" and his thoughts about them (i.e. totalitarianism)

how he affected the events of his time?

basically i need to make an outline about that stuff for an essay

Yes, read Animal Farm because it is quick and fun. Before you begin reading look up different types of government.., totalitarianism, fascism, communism, democracy, socialism and have the definitions in your mind so you can easily identify elements of the story that describe each in one read if you're in a hurry. Enjoy the book!

George Orwell (pen name of Eric Arthur Blair) is one of the more interesting characters from the early part of the 20th Century.

I hope you have at least read Animal Farm since it seems you are trying to get us to do something you could easily look up on the internet.
