Coming from experience, a good rule of thumb to remember is... only tell secrets that wouldn't hurt/humiliate you if that person told. So never tell your friends secrets that you truly want to stay secret. Not that you can never trust anyone, but friends don't always stay your best friend. You will always have to live with the choices you make, not them.

only tell secrets you don't mind other's knowing. It's a good rule to live by. How many times have you been told something in confidence and then told your best friend?

No because once you tell someone its no longer a secret....If the secret gets out it could put a real strain on your relationship.

absolutely not! some small things are ok.. but what if later this friend is no longer your friend, then your secrets will be in jeprody.

well, if she tell you to... don't. there are some things that we have to keep a secret, they have to respect our privacy to be a best friend.

do u trust her/him enough 2 keep them?
if u hesitate 2 answer that question, refrain from telling ur bff. if they're pressuring u 2 tell them, they're not the best friend u thought they wer. u don't owe them anything if they told u sumthing; it wuz their choice 2 tell u if they did

well i tell my best friend myn and she only told the tiny 1s and she asked first. so its up to u if u trust her that much
