I don't think this is a very romantic gift. It is interesting to read about things that happened when you met but these news items are not really what your relationship is about are they? Depending on what happened in the news when you met this could really be a downer. Don't take a chance with this. I recommend you try to be a little more light-hearted and romantic and get her a cute, cuddly teddy bear. You can get them dressed up in an outfit that relates to their special interests or personalize it with a special message or your name. Here's my favorite place:

If you need help, call Rob at the number on the site. He will help you create a memorable gift that will remind her of you every time she looks at it.
Good Luck!

I like the first one if you have been together for at least 20 years. I like the second one as long as you're married! I think the video that jimstock60 posted was hilarious but I don't think anyone would appreciate that gift. LMAO!

I liked you first idea best... just cuz the second one seemed just like a useless nicknack that would collect dust... no offense or anything... my boyfriend and i tend to give eachother gifts that we will use on a daily basis.. like a suede blanket with a matching pillow, since i was always cold

I like it, it's sweet and thoughtful. I just had an interesting time reading it because of all the abbreviations. But since it's something so unique and special, I'm sure the person you're giving it to will love it to pieces.

It's nice that you put some thought into doing something different. I think, however, that they are a bit "commercial". Why not just get her a nice engraveable necklace or locket?... OR a charm bracelet (in style again) that you can add a charm each year (each charm holding a special meaning for your relationship).

I personally l o v e the when we first met memory book. Very sweet. An added touch she would love would be to personalize the book with pictures of you and notes.

Yes, it's sweet. It's the thought that counts anyway. I think it's a very original idea. Better than candy and flowers
