Well it is a little pathetic...jay kay :) but atleast you're asking some good quality questions :) Keep it up... maybe you'll find a "friend" on here like that one person referred to, to give you some points for best answer :)

There's a guy on here with around a 50% best answer rate. You get a higher best answer rate if you pick a subject area that you know well and specialize in answering questions there. His area is chemistry. But just to do better, don't spout off a lame answer to every question you see. Pick and choose questions more carefully and respond with well thought out answers. Then you'll see your rate increase.

Mine's around 22%.

Nah. Most people are around a 10% rate. It depends on how many questions you answer more than anything. I have a 9% rate, and I'm perfectly happy with that. I've also answered over 4000 questions.

Trying harder is a good thing, but I've seen scores lower than8%.
