I don't think this is Seattle... I think this is West Vancouver, British Columbia. In the picture posted off the web site, I noticed three Canadian Flags attached to the Dock stanchions in the harbor; also note the location of the large freighters anchored offshore. You won't find a view like that in Seattle.

Notice also this is not a draw bridge as most of the bridges are around the Seattle metro-plex, thus limiting the possibilities as to which bridge it might be in the first place.

Seattle's waterfront areas do not have a bridge feeding into Puget Sound like you see in this picture. Vancouver on the other hand...

Check out the picture of the web site below. On the right of the picture, the white circular building is Canada Place; on the left upper center of the picture are two Bridges, the uppermost bridge is your picture. This is West Vancouver, British Columbia.

Upon further investigation... this is the entrance to False Creek, between downtown Vancouver and Granville Island. The two bridges are the Burrard and Granville.

In the photo you refer to; the left top of the picture is Vanier Park, and the park in the top right of the photo is the West End of Sunset Beach.

On the second web site I have listed, scroll down to pictures marked: ID:41-5235-22a; 41-5235-23a; 41-5235-25a. These photo's will confirm the location of your bridge and building.

Before reading any other answers, I felt pretty sure it was Vancouver, B.C. Beautiful city, great part of it. The "river" is called False Creek, as I recall, but it really isn't a river or a creek. It's just a sort of elongated narrow bay.
