why do celeberties feel the need to go to other countries to help kids when hundreds need there help in USA?

no matter where you go in the world there is always poverty, there is always war, there's always somebody somewhere who's suffering. Right now, America is one of the wealthiest and most powerful countries on the world. I guess they just figure there are other places that need it more. It might be all about image for them, too. I mean i knoww this sounds low but..look how much attention angelina got for adopting those two boys. Think the media would have cared as much if she had gotten them from a different side of the country..probably not.
I deff. understand your point and i agree but..that just might be what they figure

Americans are VERY spoiled compared to most other countries(even the bums and crackheads of America are living better than alot of people from other countries).Most countries dont have half the oppurtunity that the poorest people here have.

I think they feel like they get more publicity by doing it that way. However, you are right. There is a lot of suffering in the United States that no one talks about and celebs don't think it's cool to take on a mission to help people in their own country. It's a shame!

It is true many need our help here but all the worlds people are our brothers and sisters and just because they live some where else does not mean they should not be helped.plus kids are being helped right here and kids in other places are not as fortunate as american kids

They also are very active in helping with children, and other causes, in this country as well. Go on a search engine and check it out.
