If you get a bachelors degree you can probably start out making $40,000 to 50,000 and advance rapidly as there is a growing shortage of accountants in marketplace and many CEO's of companies began as accountants. It is by far the best skill set and degree in business.

It depends on where you reside and It depends on the company. The accounting field is wide open as to how far you can advance, depending again on the company and the size of the company. It can depend on what openings are open at the time you apply.

It is never too soon to start investigating on your options. Your starting pay could be in part based on your G.P.A. in high school and college. I would go to school and then during your second year start hunting around. Wages can vary too greatly to even guess at this time in your life.

I guarantee you that you will make more than $8 to $10.00 per hour.
