well my circumstances are unusual we went thru katrina and there is no money here our jobs are gone our area is forever changed in gulfport mississippi and then my husband became permently sick and i became disabled and we still have 2 sons at home ages 11 and 16 and we do not know what to do applied for va disability 6 months ago and still have not heard any answer and the first time we were denied it takes the va forever and my husband is seriously ill and newly legally blind so we are below poverty level we only have our electric and water and phone bills and food we own our own home or we would be homeless our country helps other countries but forget our own who need help desperatly thats not righr

Not any more, but at one time, whatever income I saw was just fleeting glances as it went out lots quicker than it came in LOL.
But I got a few lucky breaks, and some good advice, and managed to start living within my means. Did away with all the credit cards, bought a piece of dirt, now own it free and clear.
I just wish I had gotten smarter quicker.

Yes , now that you mention it , at least lately it seems that way.
I either need a 2nd job to keep up or have to cut way back on

No but I am what my aunt calls housepoor. i.e., I am a homeowner but can't afford much else. Wish I had bought a house when I was 18, not that anyone would've sold me one then, LOL

last year Americans (U>S) spent more then they made by 1%
I only can afford to buy to stocks...Chicken stock and Beef stock.
after i pay off the gov't with taxes and buy food and drugs (perscription) their is only about enough money for lottery tickets and church.
