It would seem that human evolution has been eradicated. Certainly the average IQ continues to plummet. Does anyone out there have any reason to disagree???

That is contrary to my observations. In the modern highly specialized socieity it is possible to live a fairly comfortable life without the expenditure of hardly any mental effort. The result is a bunch of people who aren't in the habit of thinking.

That doesn't mean they don't have the capacity to think they just don't exercise it. It is difficult but not impossible to distinguish a lack of intelligence from a lazy thinker. Just look at all the creative ways people amuse themselves.

Well, then maybe a high IQ is not a valid survival strategy. I don't think evolution has a high IQ or indeed a rational animal as ultimate endpoint. Evolution is not about getting smarter.

It has nothing to do with gene mutation, but more concerning popular culture. Children and teenagers are taught that their true values lie within their strength and physical appearance. No wonder you are considered a geek or fag when you are smart. Fortunately, when you are that "geek" you end up working in an office in which your former students clean every day before you enter.
