A good bet is always the OFF switch, though if that doesn't work unplug it and disconnect it from all power sources. If it is still on call the patent office. This may be the only way to turn it off for i do not know what type of heater it is.

Just curious, why do you even want to turn it off? Unless you live farily near the equator or in the southern hemisphere, it's rather cold out... in case you hadn't noticed!
If you really do want to turn it off though, try turning the switch to "off."

Uhhm... if it's a portable, plug in heater.. well... flip it off. If that doesn't work.. just unplug it!
If it's your built in home heating/cooling.. err.. why not flip the thermastat dial to 'off'.
Heh.. IDK.
Later.
