Garden Gnomes: Are there females, what do they wear, what do they hold etc?

Like spades, pipes etc? I have to dress up as one and i want something original. Any ideas?

Yes, although they are rare in our society, some Garden Gnomes are female. Female Garden Gnomes usually wear long pleated cotton skirts that go down to their ankles in a single color with no patterns / stripes. There are exceptions, as some will wear a skirt with verticle stripes. They wear a same or different colored blouse that buttons up, which is long or short sleeved depending on the weather. Many times a female Gnome will wear a long apron which ties in back. If she has long hair, she wears it in a traditional braid down her back or two braids on either side of her head, with a ribbon tieing her hair at the bottom. A female garden Gnome may wear a hat of any of the traditional colors: red, green or blue, and often carries a basket of flowers or strawberries.

Why be a boring old garden gnome that gets stolen when you can be an underpants gnome like in the South Park episode and take people's underpants. No Halloween party would be complete without an underpants gnome. And I think that partygoers would be more tolerant of a female underpants gnome than a male one. You and your girlfriends could all be underpants gnomes and sing the underpants gnome song
