what do you think the minimum pages in a chapter should be? i mean i know it doesnt have to be ery long and what not, but id like just a guestamate

This depends on the genre and overall length of the book. Some publishers, like Harlequin, have a set length. For example, a category length book has 50000 - 55000 words and 11 chapters.

5 to 10 pages.

Mine are generally 2-3 pages typed. It depends on your type of story and when you think there should be a break. Every authors writing style is different, so the length is going to be different.

depends on you and what you have to say per chapter. In Charles Dickens's Great Expectations he had a chapter that was a bat and 3/4ths long

If your thinking like that your not ready to write the book! do research on writing the book depending on the genera's and follow guidelines based on a publishing company. Write publishing company's with your ideas and see if an editor Will work with you.
