NO...........EGG NOG is a delicious drink that is calorie filled and YES a holiday favorite BUT should be available YEAR ROUND. We should start a petition to the local dairy's that supply our stores. WE want a little Egg Nog. Doesn't have to be much. A few bottles that make us look twice when we are picking up our milk and dairy products. I know I would pick one up and hide it behind the bacon and bread. Then when I get home, pop the top and add a little bourbon, I will dance around the Christmas tree I have hidden in the back room (I love Christmas).
Oh and in case you were wondering. This was NOT sarcastic. I love EGG NOG and I love BOURBON and I love CHRISTMAS.
So will you sign my petition.

It is concidered a seasonal item, but I have seen egg nog sold year round. You might try a big grocery chain, that would be your best bet. As to the alcoholic type, you might have to mix it yourself. I haven't seen pre-mixed egg nog any other time than the Christmas season.

Egg nog
4 eggs
3 cups of milk
a dash of vanilla
sugar to taste
place ingredients in blender and blend on low for one minuet
after serving sprinkle nutmeg on top "just a touch"
For just and added kick if you like a dash of brandy...

You can make it. Try a cook book. Sometimes you can find it canned (not in the dairy section.) My kid likes it 'off season' too.
