I own a '96 Accord and it has been one of the most reliable vehicles I've owned.I've never had to do any major engine work to it,just keep up the maintenance. And I don't drive it like it was made of egg shells either.I drive 57 miles oneway to work on the some of the hilliest and windiest roads. And I drive it hard. It responds to whatever I give it and hugs and corners the road like a long lost lover.Great handling. And it's the sedan,5spd. It does ok in the snow as long as you don't get carried away, just make sure you have good tread on the tires.Well worth spending the money on Michelins for.By the way, this car has 291,000 miles and I just got my first "check engine" light. Worth it, very worth it. Parts are kinda expensive though. And I get about 29-32mpg.And it still runs as smooth as the day I bought it. I will definetly buy another if and when this one decides to explode.LOL

I have a 92. It's one of only two I've driven (the other being a 94 wagon). Yeah, I like it. It's not the most exciting car in the world, but it feels a lot more connected than its contemporary Camrys.

Any car that handles decently on pavement will handle snow. Mine is kind of iffy because I have summer tires, however. (as if the narrow mountain-side road I was on wasn't white-knuckle enough DRY)

i have a 1991 accord lx sedan, and I love driving it in the snow - and i have summer tires! SNOW DRIFT YAY!! But i do that on purpose, and only when no one's around. It drives amazingly, and even with my summer tires i don't lose grip as much as you'd think i would.

I favor Hondas the best becuase of the great mileage and the fact that it doesnt take off the looks. And their cheap too!
They do reasonable good in snow as long as you dont drive too fast.
