I want to get all 115 episodes of Wonder Years on DVD. There's a bootleg copy out it's not the official one. My question is it illegal to get this or the person who made it is going to get in trouble?

I don't think you would get into trouble but just the person who's selling it would get fined. That's how it is. Be careful where you buy it from though.

You're kind of asking two different questions.
Technically, yes. You would be breaking the law.
OTOH, there is a very slim chance of actually getting in trouble. I don't advocate bootlegging practices. However, even though you could be legally punished, you probably won't be.

Anything bootleg is illegal CD's and DVD's its kind of like stealing from that artist cause they don't get a cut of there own CD
