Associates (AA or AS) - 2 years (if you attend a 4 year college you will skip this degree)
Bachelor (BA or BS) - 2 more years (4 total)
Master's - 2 more years (6 total)
pHD or MD - 4 more years (10 total)

An associates is a broad degree. You can get an associates of Art or of Science.
A Bachelor's you have to major in something, but I believe you can be a liberal student.
For a Master's and pHD you have to be specific, but you can choose pretty much anything.
I'm not really sure about an MD.
