Because they have a "captive audience", as the saying goes. ;) They know that being trendy is as important to teenagers as food and water. They take advantage of that by charging high prices, because they know the teens will buy the clothes anyway.

Abercrombie & Fitch is defiantly the most expensive. If u like that save & in superb condition a small or xtra small there, i ought to signify going 2 to abercrombie youngsters because they have really a similar stuff in hardship-free words the stuff is more low priced & its 4 youthful ppl yet nonetheless all a similar. the subsequent expensive is Hollister, their stuff value a similar volume as abercrombie youngsters if u decide on 2 flow there. & ultimately Aeropostale is via far the most inexpensive yet for my area the least in high quality so its my least prominent save out of the three. grow to be hoping I helped:)

Because Abercombrie and Hollister are popular brands so you end up paying for he name. These brands were originally made for people that live in california who are wealthy preps that can afford the clothing. Therefore, you should shop at Aeropostale and American Eagle Outfitters where you get similar items for much less.

Because it separates the movers and shakers from the underachievers and we have to settle for Walmart! No--They appeal to all of us, they are well made and stylish, however the rich and the thieves will pay the absurd dollars for it, it's marketing analysis targeting the youth that feel they must conform or their losers, shallow thinking at best don't fall for it, there are plenty of look alike outfits at the lower end stores if you shop wisely.

It's a brand and currently a fad. I'd rather not buy them though, You can always buy the same looking clothes, and more comfortable somewhere else. They're expensive because your buying a label, not just clothes.

because they are trying to keep up with the designer stores that are making so much more money than them. It really hurts Hollister and Abercrombie when they stick a SAKS in the same mall.. the hottest stuff out there right now is designer jeans and they are trying to keep up with $150-$280 jeans.

Because they've managed to convince idiots with money that it's posh to go around advertising their stores on clothing items. Foolish if you ask me. Old Navy is every bit as good and costs way less.

Your paying for a brandname, that is it. Your paying so the kids at scholl will like you. so the girls will think your hot your paying for all the wrong reasons.. shop at the Sally and F u c k corprate america. they have screwed the USA up, no more main street shops, no more mom and pop stores, no coroner drug stores. wall fart my a s s. I hope when when this whole place goes to hell in a hand basket that the ones who survive learn from their mistakes.
When the settelers arrived in north america, I beleive it was for us to learn from them, not the other way around.. This world is screwed up kid and somtimes I am pissed at myself for even bringing 2 kids into it. Here I sit. A big house on a coroner lot, white picket fence, 2 kids, swimming pool, dog and a beautiful blond wife. Two SUV's in the driveway. Why should I worry? Well I do, and I hope you do to. the only problem with me is I waited too long. Every generation says it is trying to better the world for the next. Well my time has come and things are 10x's worse don't make the same mistakes.

Because if you sell a sweat shirt for $9, you do it at Walmart. If you sell it for $45 and slap the names of some people on it, it's a designer label.
Look for my upcoming Bill the Spite Guy collection in the fall.

Because it caters to people who are trendy and think that wearing expensive name brand clothes is some kind of status symbol. Lame.
