Often the best cell company is determined by your location and how often you travel. Often local plans are cheaper that nation-wide plans but don't extend far beyond the state/province/territory/etc.

If you are looking for a nationwide
plan for coverage, my recommendation is for Cingular/ AT&T. They have the largest range in coverage over North America. The only down to them, is their phones are quite modest and often the "free" phone is below-par of other companies. Also, they have their "rollover" minutes that is very useful for little talkers.

For nice phones, Verizon is the choice. They have a wide range of prices and models with "free" phones being quite nice. Also, Verizon has the secong largest coverage after Cingular/ AT&T.

For overall price, T-Mobile is the best. They have very cheap plans with "free" phone being as good as some $80 phones from other plans.

Your choice should be based on these three things with my personal favorite being Cingular/ AT&T.

Verizon. RAZR. (Sorry - I have had no worry with it. that is extra perfect than the V60 it replaced.) Plantronics Voyager 510 Bluetooth headset. In South Jersey, Verizon obviously has the perfect coverage and fewest dropped calls. My renowned telephone thus far develop into truly a Nokia 6000 series, yet they're lengthy lengthy gone... The Voyager headset is astounding. I used 2 others in the previous I were given smart and skim some comments.

This worked for me but may not work for you. I went with Verizon because according to Consumer Reports, their coverage was much higher than any other company. I also upgraded my phone to a camera flip phone and I absolutely love it. It is the VG series and it was a buy one get one free so I got one for my honey too. All carriers are about the same price, but find a plan that works best for you. Happy hunting!

I would reccommend you getting either Cingular, or Verizon. Both of them have great service, and optional plans, and ways to pay. I've had them both, and they both have great service everywhere I go. Also they have a variety of cell phones to choose from.

That's not THAT MUCH info, but i hope it helps.

check with your land line service, where my plan is cheaper than most companies and they ofter free phones.
At&t has cingular my plan is 850 mintues plus rollover minutes, a month for $20.00 added to my land line. not bad,
it all dpends on how much you used the phone
