How do we help the people here in the USA.?

Lately I have been seeing many questions posed by (stars) on how to help all`the children all over the world. And while I agree that every child is a gift. What about all of the children right here at home that are part of families just trying to survive.

Very good, we need to help our own nation, I believe you basically have to find these people on your own , any organization you donate to will eat up your money, and the help the people recieve will be substantially less than you had intended.

It starts on a local level. Donate time and/or money to a school/youth group/after school program/Y/homeless shelter (Time or a donation of goods is better - who knows where the $ goes), set a good example for your own kids and the kids in your community, be kind. Pardon the tired cliche, but I believe that little things can make a big difference.

Improvements in communal living education. People need to learn how to live in close cooperation and assist one another in raising children.

Haha. Right on. I'm totally with you here. The only way, in my opinion, is to change who's in office and get our economy back in good shape. We need some advocacy for the little people instead of current advocates for big business.

I any of you live in Los Angeles,you should take three hours drive to la Quinta,Indio,palm springs(not the nice part but the mills)
you will cry your heart out to see how our own people,children,elderly live here when we take the time to drive all those hours to waist our money in those casinos.just think about it i did.
