After the band's breakup it was Harrison who achieved the first #1 single (My Sweet Lord) and #1 album (All Things Must Pass) by any ex-Beatle.
My favorite song is probably "Give Me Love (Give Me Peace on Earth)" it's a song by George Harrison and is the lead track on his 1973 album Living in the Material World. The song was released as a single in May 1973, hitting number one in the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 at the end of June.

My fave is "Here Comes the Sun" a song by George Harrison from The Beatles album Abbey Road.
It has a great arpeggiated guitar riff!
And in 2006, "Here Comes the Sun" was voted by the members of the George Harrison.com forum as their favorite song of his.
