Can someone help me settle a debate? I say former major league outfielder Dante Bichette was Caucasian, a friend of mine says he wasn't.

He was born in Florida, but that's all I can find. Anyone know?

Alphone Dante Bichette was born Nov 18, 1963 2123hrs at Good Samaritan Hospital in WPB, Fl. His father is a native New Yorker of Belgium descent. His mother was born in Wimauma, Fl of German/Irish blood. He's all white, as far as we know.

Alphonse Dante Bichette (born November 18, 1963 in West Palm Beach, Florida) was a powerful slugger for his 14 seasons in Major League Baseball.
I believe he was of Italian descent. He was born in America making him a US citzen.

Man I loved playing with Bichette in the old-school N64 All-Star Baseball video games. He was a BEAST.

Well, his real name is Alphonso and being born in Florida, he is not Caucasian. Alphonso is an American name as well, I guess "Dante" (his middle name) maybe screwed your mind up a bit.

Yep, he is white.

Kind of a swarthy Mediteranean.
