after upgrading, (from startup menu), the sleep button does not function. my computer does not recover from sleep. I have to boot again. what can I do?

wait for a service pack or google until u find it .. bad idea "upgrading" the day a new operating system is released ... u just became one of the official testers for the rest of us ...

There are normally manufacturer specific drivers that you must reinstall or that have to be supported under Windows Vista.

Really a Full Installation of Vista is recommended. Too may things break under an upgrade.
