I think Anime haters are just people who want attention because anime is becoming more and more popular so don't worry, they're the ones being left behind

I've thought about that sometimes too. I think that its fine if they dont like anime. Me personally I LOVE anime but I know everybody can have differen opinion and all that, But what I cant STAND is when (some) stupid anime-haters say it out loud into your face and yell in your face "anime is for babies" its really annoying. Like at my school, there is this guy who hates anime so he got a bunch of sempai's who hate anime aswell to yell into my face "anime sux" I hate them for that, Anime is the best and they should respect anime otakus/luvers too.

I used to be one of those who personally thought anime was kind of weird and a bit dumb.
But after my friend got me addicted to it, I started reading manga and watching anime a lot. Spending time stuck to the computer or communities for updates.
I guess its because some people just don't like the type of storylines and plots in manga and anime because it is either too far away from reality for them to feel comfortable with or its just not what they have been used to/exposed to.
In the end, it boils down to who you are and what you are interested in, right? (:

They all is sooo BAKA!! I dont know why they can't appreciate this unique, amazing, kakui arts... They think anime is only for CHILDREN!!! Actually it is not. ABSOLUTELY NOT!!! Anime also give us knowledge such as Detective Conan, The Law of Ueki and many more... I dont think that buying manga and anime is waste our money.

My friend Monte likes little Asian girls...and loves Anime. I'm more into independent comics, but I don't think I know anyone, myself included, who has such a strong feeling against Anime.

i can understand someone not liking anime, but i dont get people who actually take an aggrssive side against it. i believe you should respect peoples interests and if you dont agree dont dis it just accept it as there interest...i personally love anime so i know where your coming from!
