I guess it would not make me any better than the violent animals that beat & rape, kill & torture often times totally innocent victims.

Than to make it worse they ofen get minimal sentence & are out again terrorizing peaceful law abiding folks.

I am afraid for the saftey and well being of my wife & 6 yr old with some of the crazies out there. I want to "make them disappear".

NO! No! You are not the only one to feel this way. There are a lot of people who do not like violence of any kind. They are very much in the majority. There are a few - relatively speaking- who preach hatred and violence.

There are also a rat-bag minority who think that meanness and violence are the only way to get ahead. To use violence against them is both dangerous and fool-hardy. You should become active in groups that lobby for sentencing to fit the crime.

Write to your political representative enclosing examples of taps on the wrist for serious and senseless crimes. Seek compensation for the victims to be paid by the perpetrator. Suggest sentencing to also contain work at hospitals, where abused victims are recovering.

I feel we often get away from educating the perpetrator to show him what damage his/her actions have done.

I have the same problem sometimes just from seeing the innocent ignorance of good people who look on and do nothing .
I don't support anger as one of the deadly sins of ignorance but I can't help but wonder if there is a positive side but likely not .
Also if the virtuous don't defend themselves will virtue be destroyed and those good people will have lived and died in vain?
My advise if I may keep cool and clear minded but properly take action to stop the evil .
