i definately believe that if put in the right situation, every human is capable of taking anothers' life.
this is very interesting even if it isn't really a question. i admire your honesty by the way.
but yes, i do believe that murder is a universal possibility, young or old, man or woman, all it takes is the right motivation...

Before you can answer this, you need to first ask yourself, "what murder is". There are many people who think that killing someone in self defense or in war time as a soldier is not murder. In other words, many people think that you are not murdering someone if you had a good excuse or your country said it was ok. It's still taking a life, which at it's essence is murder, regardless of the reason.
Everyone does have their breaking point & perhaps it could be said that everyone is capable, when we all have a clearer picture of what "murder" is.

I htink of myself as a passive person. I see murder as the worst act of human instinct. But at the same time, I don't know if faced with a bad situation how would I react. If someone tried to hurt my family or myself, I think I would kill before anyone hurt someone I care about. Then I see psychos that hurt innocent children or the elderly, and I want to hurt them. I guess if put in the right situation, everyone is capable of murder.

Given the right circumstances, I think most everyone is capable of murder; let's say, manslaughter.
It was the great actor/director John Huston that said (and I paraphrase),"most people never have to deal with the fact that in the right circumstances they're capable of anything."

first of all, you're incorrect. a million. we are not all animals on the proper of the day. per chance some individuals are, yet not all. 2. each body is able to homicide. not authentic. not each body receives uncovered to situations which will attempt a guy's organic survival reaction. (strive against or die) 3. homicide can be the most organic reaction, and not in any respect homicide. Even the bible recognizes that. Thou shalt not kill. homicide(reason and reason) is extremely diverse because it is going to contain thoughts jointly with jealousy, greed, (coveting yet another persons gold, or major different) and hatred. Now that each and each man or woman of it really is sparkling, enable us muddy it up again via putting forward, YUP people can commit homicide at the same time as their households are threatened or they're protecting their very personal lives.

Being one person is hard enough. and yes anyone is capable of murder if you are in a corner just like most animals you will fight your way out if you have too and that includes kill or be killed.

Thats deep, and I completly agree with you. People are completly defined as the situation they are put into. Whether you grow up in a poor neighborhood, or are pushed to far over the edge, you're ulitimitly defined by those surroundings your in. I know there can be a few exceptions, but I believe this to be completly true.

From being capable of committing murder, even thinking about committing murder, there is a huge leap to committing murder.

yes, but not everyone chooses to be capable of commiting a murder, because in the army men are taught to kill, even if they thought they couldn't and then they go to war and kill.

here is a little bit of free psychology for you:
this 'person' who you thought was the cause of all your problems wasnt him...in reality, it is a projection of 'YOUR" failings, insecurities and realization onto him that you are a nobody.
dont fret, most people do not know the true cause of why they 'hate' people. what they hate in people is a reflection of what they hate in themselves. so, by 'killing' this person per say, you hope to vanquish some of your inner demons that haunt you.
dont bother to retort me. waste your time and look it up. it's there.
