wii or ps3?

if you want to have fun play your video games i would get a wii. if you just want play boring games with better graphics then get the ps3. as an added benefit to the wii the new games are $10 less.

the wii can also download games with wireless internet, and you can surf the internet from the comfort of your couch.

Each excels in a different aspect. I have both, and I like each of them equally. Each one is good even if you're a "hard core gamer".

The Wii is not as great on the graphics (as I'm sure you know) but for things like classic games and getting involved in the game it's great.

Graphics on the PS3 are awesome, but do I enjoy playing it more because of that? Not necessarily.

If you are debating between which one to buy right now I would say the Wii, only because the PS3 still has a few games that are too be released that will be better than those out right now.

Let me ask you a question. Why do we buy a “video game” console?

The answer: To play games. Not to watch movies, go on the internet or organize music. That’s a computer’s job.

Wii succeeds on that level. Nintendo strictly made the Wii a game console. And because of its motion sensitive controller, it breaks the video game barrier; making us players feel less of a player and making us feel like we are in the game.

Ps3 fails on that level because Sony made the PS3 an “everything” console, and because the games that are out suck, even Resistance: Fall of Man did not succeed; it only won a few awards. The graphics: Heck, they look too similar to the 360. The motion sensitive controller really doesn’t help the gaming experience, it makes it worse, and the price is even too high: heck you can even buy a 360 and a Wii for the price of a PlayStation 3.

People buy a game console to play games. Remember that.
