I haven't seen it but I think you may be thinking of Ruby Bridges. I remember seeing ads and reviews about that one.
My favorite movie that remarks on Rasism is to kill a mockingbird.

To Kill a Mockingbird - an earlier one which I am sure has been on TV. It's a classic.

Some other movies that deal with issues of racism are:

- Guess Who
- Cry Freedom
- Buffalo Soldiers
- Ali
- Malcolm X
- Borat
- Missipi Masala
- Higher Learning
- Romper Stomper
- Monster's Ball
- Crash
- Hart's War

Just a few that I could think of, there are no doubt heaps more.

oh yeah, The Great White Hype and Jungle Fever.

pretty much any movie starring black people has racism in it to some extent. "crash" is an actual movie based more on fact than anything. I don't know if it airs on TV.
