He is what is know as a bitchy queen.
Ignore him.
He is miserable and insecure in his life.
Maybe someday he will grow out of it, but not likely.
Aside from that, 6th Finger has the right idea.
Document everything and have the other co-workers do the same.

Take the 'gay' element out of the picture completely and you are left with an uncooperative worker who is disrupting the flow of work. Management, once they are alerted to the problem, are obliged to do something about it - offering him support and counselling and helping him improve his skills in teamwork. If he fails to take up these recommendations or, after a reasonable time, no improvement is noted, then the formal procedures can begin re dismissing him. Counselling and retraining can be a long and arduous road but it should result in a win-win situation - a happier co-worker and a happier environment. If it fails, then at least he can then be moved on.
Do not record him without informing him first. In fact, do not record him at all. It is not necessary and it's illegal.

Passive aggressive isn't defined as giving a chilly shoulder and appearing like no longer something is erroneous. Passive aggressive is whilst the guy acts out, as an occasion, says no longer something is erroneous then leaves the seat up. some people won't be able to communicate approximately their thoughts certainly. a number of it relatively is cultural and how we are referred to. possibilities are high, the SO or significant different became into like this once you met him/her. Nagging hardly variations this habit. the guy will regularly communicate approximately it whilst/if she or he's waiting. it relatively is not regularly a issue till the guy keeps the stuff bottled up and then in basic terms explodes for no reason at you. Now this is a issue!

Well, according to Smile Like U Mean It, gay people are only doing what animals do (because that is his argument in a different post to support gays being well, gay) which justifies this guy acting like an animal to you, right? WRONG! Last time I checked the law applies to everyone. If he is harrassing you, I wouldn't put up with it one bit!
Homosexuality raises a whole lot of misinterpretation and misunderstanding. As is shown in the documentary movie "It's not Gay" (available through the www.AFA.net), homosexuality is a choice. That's why there are so many bisexuals. That's also why there are "reformed" homosexuals. And, smile Like U mean it, comparing humans to animals?????? Why is that even a subject of conversation. Animals eat their own vomit, lick their anuses and some eat their young or their mates. So does that mean those animalistic behaviours should be acceptable in human behaviors also? Hardly.
Oh I forgot---only the animal behaviors that we wish to observe to excuse our own immorality is OK...right????
In my opinion, get called a 'gay basher' and smile like you mean it because gay isn't a condition, it is a choice. It's not like being of certain ethnicity. Gay people would have you believe otherwise so they can whine and complain. No one should be excused from being a jerk just because they choose to act like an animal in more than one way.

I had the EXACT same problem last year! I tried a lot of things, but nothing seemed to work. Finally I just asked him and our boss into a room a explained the situation and my concern. As expected he started claiming that I was attacking him for his sexual orientation, not his real work ethics. So, I simply explained that that was impossible because I too was gay. I told them I preferred to keep my personal business to myself discrediting any past love life info.....yes, it worked. No I am not really gay NORE does he still work with us...good luck!

Don't pay any attention to his threats.
Make sure you have a tape recorder or something with you and record how abusive he is. Take down statements from your co-workers about how he acts with them.
Then let him know that the next time he tries pulling some crap like that, not only are you and your co-workers going to your bosses about it, but you have hard evidence as well. So there won't be any loopholes for him.

You need to write down specific cases on how he bullies and abuses others and keep a calendar on how often he does this.
He can't say it is gay bashing if you have specific evidence of his actions that have nothing to do with him being gay.

I worked in public service (for an airline for 31 years) and often that is the 1st thing that people would yell that I was prejudiced..etc if they didn't get what they wanted...Usually I told them the truth...'you didn't get a aisle seat because you were the last one to check in for the flight'.....'I don't know what your problem was sir...but everyone else made it to the flight on time'...it usually worked...don't let them shift the blame onto you.

Start documenting everything. Present it to the human resources department. They are required to investigate. Just because he's gay doesn't mean he's immune from discipline when the same standards of behaviour expected from all employees are not being upheld by him.

Confront him anyway. So what if he cries "Gay Bashing" if what you are confronting him over has nothing to do with his sexuality, than any rational person should see that it has nothing to do with it. Just because he is gay does not give him license to be a jerk.
