Okey first off you do NOT have the word love in the poem, unless you've both told each other that you love each other. Or else you'll scare him away, because guys have committment issues. Try some of the following or look on line for some, or in a poetry book, heck try some shakespeare if he likes those kinds of things.

Roses are red violets are blue,
I like what I see, and I see you.

Roses are red violets are blue,
You make me want to try something new.

Ok those are really bad examples, I always sucked at poetry, your best bet would be to look for valentines day peoms in an online search engine. Sorry I wan't much help, and good luck.

Henry Wadsworth Longfellow writes very lyrical and delusion form poems. right this is an occasion: The Day is finished THE day is finished, and the darkness Falls from the wings of night, As a feather is wafted downward From an eagle in his flight. I see the lights fixtures of the village Gleam interior the process the rain and the mist, And a feeling of unhappiness comes o'er me That my soul can not face as much as: a feeling of unhappiness and longing, that may not resembling soreness, And resembles sorrow in basic terms simply by fact the mist resembles the rain. Come, examine to me some poem, some hassle-free and heartfelt lay, That shall soothe this under pressure feeling, And banish the techniques of day. not from the grand previous masters, not from the bards elegant, Whose distant footsteps echo interior the process the corridors of Time, For, like lines of martial music, Their powerful techniques recommend existence's countless toil and enterprise; And this night I long for relax. examine from some humbler poet, Whose songs gushed from his coronary heart, As showers from the clouds of summer season, Or tears from the eyelids initiate; Who, by long days of exertions, And nights with out ease, nonetheless heard in his soul the music of wonderful melodies. Such songs have a potential to quiet The under pressure pulse of care, and is derived like the benediction That follows after prayer. Then examine from the precious quantity The poem of thy decision, And lend to the rhyme of the poet the marvelous thing approximately thy voice. And the night would be crammed with music, And the cares, that infest the day, Shall fold their tents, like the Arabs, And as silently scouse borrow away. Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

Stay away from the word "love". Find out first if he even likes you. Try this:

"The roses are red
attracting a bee.
I like you,
do you like me?"

What's a "peom"? Is that anything like a peon?

Roses are red, violets are blue,
Learn how to spell, whatever you do.

I'm partial to Invictus, by William Ernest Henley.

But it's not generally considered romantic.

Song lyrics can be as good as any poem. Especially if the song has meaning to you as a couple.

THE POWER OF A SMILE.
-----------------------------------

The power of a gun can kill
And the power of fire can burn
The power of wind can chill
And the power of the mind can learn
The of anger can rage
Inside Until it tears U apart
But the Power of a smile
Especailly yours can heal a frozen heart.
