If your best friend is lying to you then they aren't your best friend. If they are lying to someone else then you have to wonder if they also lie to you, which brings you back to my first statement.
Liars can't be trusted.

Wrong section but i'll answer anyway. You should ask him why he's lying all the time. To stay out of trouble? To help him achieve a goal in life? To protect you or himself from something? Tell him to drop the act and ask him what's going onnn. If he knows you know that he's lying all the time, he'll feel obligated to tell you the truth from now on.

Either try and talk common sense to this person about lying or maybe it's better to cut this person off for good and find friends that would be a better influence.

one of my friends is a liar too. i would just ask them to stop. if they keep doing it, than just stop being their friend. friends dont lie
