No idea what causes it, but my biceps area aren't growing a lot. I have been eating quite a lot, but all the fats gather at the tummy. My hands are rather skinny, I've been doing dumbbells since quite sometime ago, but the arm is still skinny. Help please?

REMEMBER THAT 2/3 OF THE ARM CIRCUMFERENCE AND VOLUME IS OCCUPIED BY THE TRICEPS.

When you are curling for Biceps you must alternate with Triceps exercises. This is the time you will feel the arm pump.

Remember 1. For mass building you must pyramid to higher weights and lower reps. 2. The Brachialis muscle is responsible to add mass to the biceps. This pops up with Preacher curl or Concentration curl. It appears you need to concentrate on these.

Confirm with your trainer.

Good Luck

If you are excercising regularly, make sure to vary your arm exercises. The bicep is made up of two muscles and the different curls and other excercises work them out differently. Some suggested exercises are standing barbell/dumbbell curls, preacher curls, hammer curls, and the ever important chin ups (also works the back).
Also, if you want to increase the size of your upper arm, the tricep is what is gonna fill out the sleeves of your shirt. Triceps are naturally a larger muscle so be sure to work them out as well to keep a healthy looking balance.
Be sure to eat a healthy well rounded diet. Foods high in protein can help stimulate muscle growth. Some high protein & low fat options to increase your arm size while decrease that tummy chicken and fish. Good luck with your workouts!

I'm a skinny dude too...trying to get bigger biceps. Do you constantly put pressure on your biceps, forcing them to adapt to more weight week by week? Or do you use the same weight every time you go to the gym? This could be the problem. Regarding nutrition, you don't have to eat really fattenning foods to get protein; there are a lot of excellent protein sources without all of the fat: tuna, chicken (that's not fried and doesn't have the "breadlike" skin like w/chicken tenders) and protein shakes to name three.

You could always join the crew team at school. Nothing builds a guy's upper body like that. You'll have great biceps.

Either you aren't lifting enough weight or you haven't been lifting enough weight for long enough.

EDIT: If your extra caloric intake is being converted into stomach fat, you aren't exercising enough. Do some aerobics to burn the extra calories and make sure to get some protein!

keep lifting but if the results aren't good enough, try not to worry about it. lifting doesn't affect everyone the same.
