um...pretend that you are calling like a restaurant and when they say hello then you can start saying what you would like to order until they either hang up or ask what the heck you are doing.

or...

you could pretend that you know the people and start talking to them about your day or something that happened. like you were talking to one of your friends.

or...

(i did this once) call and pretend that you are crying and there is a baby noise in the background and talk to the person like they are your mom and say that you really need diapers for the baby. the person that i did this too really flipped out when i had done this. but it was sooo fun!
