If you are asking about wild animals, the answer is none of them. They are wild for a reason and do not adapt to captivity. I was a docent for a natural area park for 5 years and have seen some tragic consequences when well meaning people try to keep a wild animal as a pet. Stick to a cat or dog or any other domestic pet. They will give you many years of love when taken care of properly.

A starling or a pigeon are fine. It is illegal to keep most wild birds as pets, but these are "exotic" species and so are okay.
A non-venomous snake or lizard but you have to create the right habitat when caring for a reptile, so do your homework.
The same goes for frogs and toads.
I can't think of any wild mammals that make good pets; they have too many wild instincts. I have kept wild rats an mice of different species, but you can't really handle them, even if they are born in captivity.

you should find a stray cat or dog that needs a home but take to vet . every one Else should stay out doors. mb a ant farm.why because its free? its not free to take care of a living creature.why not find some one who needs to give a pet a new home that they cant have for what ever stupid reason .strays could be to wild and some friendly because they were dumped and had a home. but get checked with vet a good one.

Most likely none, animals outside belong inside. And they will most likely not be very happy you took them as a pet. Sorry if you don't like my answer, but it is the truth... -If you find a stray, don't keep it! Give it to your local human society.-

unless it is a stray cat or dog, one should not keep animals that belong outside. Most people (including me) have no clue how to take care of a wild creature.
