Can i use a component video cord to connect my pc and tv?

Component normally refers to the RCA cables used to interconnect video devices together. Yellow for Video, White for Left Audio, and Red for Right Audio. If your computer has a video output that allows a component connection and your TV has the same, than it's possible.

You need to provide more information about your TV and the video output capabilities of your computer.

Did you mean a video card? If that's the case, you need a video card with TV out jack. Check any computer store ie Best Buy, Compusa, Circuit City etc.
