My father pointed this out to me, as he is a huge fan of these movies. In the Back To The Future commercial for Directv, the cut over Doc Brown's eye is actually over the WRONG eye. It's supposed to be over his right eye, but Directv put it over his left for the commercial. Guess they didn't pay much attention to detail when making it.

Well, considering that they made the movie over ten years ago, I doubt they flipped the image because if that was the case, he'd look ALOT younger than he does in the commercial.

Yeah. That's really important.
Perhaps your house will be flooded when sea levels rise 6 meters due to Global Warming.
Then continuity in average films will be a thing of the past.

They definitely needed a better script supervisor! IMHO, things like this are kind-of fun....I love looking for mistakes in movies. (It is nearly a "sport" during Disney movies!) It makes it kind of silly and goofy.

So far, I have only found ONE technically perfect (that is, no "flubs" like this and lines spoken perfectly....) movie.....my film teacher agrees......anyone know what THAT one is? Just a little mind-bender thrown in to lighten the mood......answer in the link below....if anyone else knows any, by all means, add them to the list!:)

I suspect that
a) you may be right and they weren't paying that much attention

or

b) they had to change it for copywrite purposes...
