It sure can! Most phones come with minimal data volume or web browser "lite". By the time you get past all the useless pages about weather, sports, ringtones, restaurants, etc etc etc , then finally to yahoo mail or whatever, you are already past the "free" download volume. Now with color pictures and advertisements it will take even less time. I racked up $ 140 charges in one month, just reading my email and experimenting with the phone to see what it could do. Call your provider and ask about it first.
